JAPAN TAKES 3 BRONZE IN GR AT ASIA JR C’SHIPS

TOKYO (July 5) - Three Japanese wrestlers earned bronze medals in greco-roman wrestling as the Asian junior wrestling championships got under way July 4 in Qatar's capital of Doha. The medalists were Shota Tanokura (50 kg) of Tokyo’s Jiyugaoka Gakuen high school, Yuji Okamoto (66) of Takushoku University and Takuma Arizono (96) of Yamanashi Gakuin University.

The three bronze medals surpassed last year’s total of two bronze for Japan in greco-roman at the Asia junior meet.
