   CRETEIL, France (October 2) - Results of matches involving Japanese wrestlers after the second session of the greco-roman wrestling world championships in Robert Oubron Sports Hall:

55 kg - TOYOTA, Masatoshi (Pool 2, 35 entries)
1R - bye
2R - df. Tero Katajisto (FIN) 5-3
3R - lost to Im Dae-Wong, Korea 0-4
(Toyota got the early passivity call, but gave up an escape point to Im. Then, Im converted on his par terre with a chest-high gut wrench and near fall bonus point for a 4-0 lead.)

66 kg - IMURO, Masaki (Pool 13, 46 entries)
1R - lost to Jannis Zamandouridis (GER) 1-4
2R - bye
3R - df. Ion Panait (ROM) by fall, 3:57 (6-5)
(Imuro spotted Panait a five-point lead in the first period and then arched Panait through the air with a perfectly timed single-arm throw that led to a pin. It was Imuro's first win in three trips to the world championships.)

1R - lost to Hamza Yerlikaya (TUR) 4-1
2R - df. Vitaly Ogulev (AUS) by TF, 10-0, 0:51
(Matsumoto scored with a body takedown for three points and went to a reverse waistlock and lift for a 7-0 margin. He ended the bout with a single-arm throw.)

(Suzuki got tipped up with three gut wrenches, getting his two points when Stryzhak rolled onto his back on his own.)

(Suzuki got rolled over with a pair of gut wrenches and could not convert on his own par terre chances.)
