Seiko Yamamoto was beaten by technical fall
by Saori Yoshida
A 56kg defending world champion, Seiko Yamamoto, lost by technical fall by Saori Yoshida, a current junior 58kg world champion, at
National Sports Festival, Sendai-city, on
17 October. This match was performed as a
demonstration match at National Sports Festival
because female wrestling is not included
official programs. But they were serious
fights. This is Yoshida's first victory to
Yamamoto.
Seiko Yamamoto was defeat by fall by Kaori Icho, 16 years old, at Japan Queens Cup on April.
However she recovered her ability and got
a right to attend the World Female championships.

51kg : Hitomi Sakamoto, a defending world champion, defeat Chiharu
