Mimi Sugawara will be selected the female 68 kg of Japanease team

　Mimi Sugawara will be selected the female 68 kg of the Japanease team for the World Championships. The play-off by three wrestlers was held at Tokamachi city on 25 August. And every wrestler finished one won and one lost. But Mimi Sugawara, who beat Norie Saito and was beaten by Eri Sakamoto, was 1st place by tequnichal points. The Japan Wrestling Federation will announce her as the femal 68kg wrestler soon.

　She finished 3rd place at the Asian female championships at Ulan-Bator, Mongolia, on 5-7 June. Her father, Yasaburo Sugawara, was the member of Montreal Olympic and got a bronz medal at freestyle 68 kg.
